Intelligent integration makes it possible: zenon and the IEC 61131-3 programming system straton are integrated in a way, that outstanding advantages in the engineering of the SCADA and the PLC arise from it. O&M variablen (operating and monitoring) from the PLC project are available in both systems (SCADA and PLC) - they only have to be created on one side.

Distinctive object orientation

Object orientation in both systems: User-defined function blocks in the PLC, structure variables in both systems and object oriented symbols in the SCADA system give a better overview in the engineering phase and guarentee for easy extensions of the system.

Beside the usual function blocks for PLC programming straton also offers many high level blocks for communication, control and file operations.

Distributed applications

straton supports distributed systems with several PLCs. Network target systems with the redundant straton binding protocol and thus add a new dimension to the decentralized approach.
